Me and writing (the longest relationship)

Writing is a sacred place for me. It's my comfort. I adore reading and writing. Poetry is my speciality.

I was obsessed with books when I was younger. Any chance that I would get, I’d read. As I got older, I started writing because of reading. I discovered that I actually wasn’t half bad at it! (Or maybe that’s what I wanted to believe.)

I quickly got acquainted with poetry. There was just something magical about it. I heavily enjoy reading, and while I may not be that good at writing poetry, I like to think I'm half decent.

Of course, I adore fantasy, YA and teen fiction books (maybe even the occasional classic). Books such as A Court of Thorns and Roses and Shatter Me are ones I particularly enjoy.

The only thing I find slightly problematic is the romanticism of mental illness in books. Mainly because that is not how mental illnesses work.
